    happy hour
    comfy terrace
    spacious suite
    awkward double bed

I loved the happy hour with unlimited drinks and snacks. The comfy terrace was a perfect spot to unwind. Just beware of the double bed, as it’s actually two singles pushed together, which can be a bit awkward. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I’d totally recommend the suite for a cozy experience! 😊

The breakfast here was astonishing! Freshly made pancakes. unbelievable! and the complimentary drinks in the room? total game changer.

It wasn't exactly a steal, but it was still acceptable.

    happy hour
    family-friendly atmosphere
    limited activities

This hotel was perfect for our family of six, especially with four teenagers. We loved the daily Happy Hour by the bar, where we embraced the chance to unwind together after a day of exploring the nearby museums and canals.

My kids wished for more family-friendly activities in the hotel’s common areas.

    great location
    delicious breakfast
    comfy beds
    small rooms

Charming spot in the heart of it all!

I stayed here for 3 nights with friends, and it was a blast! The location is perfect, just a short walk to all the cool spots. The breakfast was fab—seriously good omelets and fresh juice for just 14 euros. The only bummer was that the rooms felt a bit small and the stairs were super narrow.

    accessibility issues

I appreciated the charming decor of the Amsterdam Canal Hotel, which features beautiful white furniture and bold details that create a fresh, inviting atmosphere. The staff were particularly attentive, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable as a senior traveler.

    exceptional service
    nice view
    challenging stairs
    minimal sitting
    warm room

The staff provided exceptional service, real standout moments included the daily complimentary wine and the cozy cleanliness of the room. The location was ideal for walking to local attractions. However, the lack of a lift made navigating the stairs challenging, and the room size was noticeably small with minimal sitting space. Despite having a nice view, the unique window design restricted enjoyment of it. One major downside was the absence of air conditioning, leaving the room warm at times.

The Canal's charming ambiance, with its historic decor and cozy corners, made me feel at home. The lounge was inviting, and having a terrace to enjoy the canal views was a delightful touch for relaxation during our stay.

A lift would greatly assist senior guests.

My partner and I spent a lovely 4 nights here. The quaint ambiance charmed us, especially in comparison to a grander hotel nearby. Breakfast featured delightful pastries, and the complimentary evening drinks were a treat. The only downside was the steep stairs. Would definitely stay again!
